The illustrations of the month for Tipeee et Patreon are finally ready and this month, I have only new illustrations to offer you! :D
Here is what the October patrons who chose the HD Pack reward or more will soon receive.

This month, the NSFW illustration will be in colour and the G-rated illustration in black and white (with a touch of red).

G-rated illustration : Here is Robert d'Artois, played by Jean Piat in The Accursed Kings in 1972, adaptation of the series of novels of the same name that inspired Game of Throne.

NSFW illustration : a Greek warrior inspired by my visits to the Louvre Museum. :p

The HD scan of the G-rated illustration will be delivered to all patrons who have chosen the reward HD Pack or more. The NSFW illustration in HD and uncensored will be delivered to all patrons who have chosen a reward labeled NSFW.

A6 ex-libris and holocards of these illustration will be delivered to the patrons depending on whether they have chosen the reward Little collector or The 90's kid, NSFW or not.

Hi everyone!

October is coming!
And when we talk about October it means

What is the Inktober?
It is an international drawing event founded by Jake Parker in 2009.
It is a challenge that invites any artist to make an inked drawing per day throughout the month of October. Hence the name Inktober.
Each year Jake Parker proposes a list of themes (one theme per day) that everyone is free to follow or not.
The objective is to practice drawing and inking daily.

I did it last year and I followed the themes and put as much as possible of the characters or settings from my comics in each of the illustrations.

You can find an overview of all the drawings I made last year on deviantArt. I couldn't do it every day.

This year I will not follow the themes.
This year I am embarking on a new challenge.
I'm going to try to make one comic page per day.
And for that reason I am launching on a new project, a new story especially designed for the occasion.

This new adventure is called:

I have not the final version of the logo yet.

I will not be alone on this project. My friend Marialexie, who will also be present for in Normandiebulle, is in charge of writing the script while I am exclusively in charge of the drawings.

This is a classic dark fantasy adventure.

Tarkhan, a brutal and bloody warrior, is the last hope against the skeletons army which is attacking SternBerg's kingdom.

For the moment, it is considered as a one-shot.

I had been thinking for months about a project especially for the Inktober. The objective was to force me to adapt my working methods to be more productive without compromising quality.
I also wanted a project where I could enjoy drawing quickly without systematically pushing myself out of my comfort zone. (All these ships, all these tourists, all these Parisian streets...)

And a few weeks ago I started listening to Rhapsody of Fire again.
What? You don’t know Rhapsody of Fire?
Take a look at this playlist then. You will please me. :p

So I started to dream of muscular warriors, shining swords and dragons breathing flames.
And while talking with Marialexie, we both expressed the desire to tell these kinds of stories. Just to have fun. No headache or pressure. With the good retro touch of the 70s and 80s that goes well.
That's when we agreed to create Tarkhan Skullkiller. =D

So let's jump together into our comfort zone! =D

We will publish this story the same way as Space Wizard McKcarell: an early access of pages without watermark and uncensored for patrons and a publication delayed by one month for others, with censorship (if needed) and watermark.

I am here today to announce the exclusive content that I will deliver to the patrons at the end of the month.
As the planning for this month of September is a little tight, I'm announcing everything at once instead of publishing a news by type of content. So the news of the day will be a little copious.

But first of all, we have a newcomer among the patrons and it is time to thank him and welcome him!

New features!

Discussion channel on Discord

Before talking about the usual content, I have a little something new to offer to all patrons.
The discord channel, which until now was only used for private lives, is now permanently open to chat whenever you want, with me or with each other. :)
I will provide again the address of the channel in a private news for patrons.

The channel is organized into several thematic subchannels as shown in the capture below.

There is a general channel to discuss everything and nothing, often used during private lives, a channel per comic project, a channel to discuss drawing and art (tips, tricks or other) and a vocal channel for private lives.
Each theme is available in French and English.
Of course, the list is not fixed and may evolve over time. =)
In fact, it is like a forum but by instant messaging.

Facebook group

For all patrons who use facebook, I have created a private group where all the pages of Space Wizard McKcarell are grouped into albums. I also publish links to the news here as and private lives planning.
I will remind you of the link to the group regularly in the private news so that you can apply to join the group if you are not yet a member.

For patrons who don't have Facebook, don't panic. There will be no exclusive content on this group, so you won't miss anything! =D
This is just a little extra convenience for users of this platform.

Content of the month

Now that the new features have been announced, it is time to talk about the usual content.
As usual, the download links for these contents will be sent by email to the patrons for their contribution once the tips of the month have been validated.

Tutorial of the month

This month I will explain how to remove a blue sketch from a black and white comic page or illustration without eraser. I will explain how to do that with The Gimp, Photoshop, Affinity Photo and Clip Studio Paint.
This tuto will be delivered to all patrons who have taken the reward Backstage or more.

Graphic resources of the month

This month I propose you a pack containing many speedlines in very high resolution for use in your comics or illustrations.
They are generated by programs that I have written with Javascript and SVG.

In addition to these speedlines, I will also deliver 2 pages of my personal colour chart for Promarkers pens. If you use these tools yourself it can help you reproduce certain effects without wasting time with thousands of tests.

In this month's pack: new skin colors, oranges, sand and rock hues.

The complete resource pack will be delivered to all patrons who have taken the Graphic artist pack or more.

This time I will deliver existing illustrations (but never published in HD) because I was still really busy with chapter 2 of Dragon Cat's Galaxia 1/2 (finally finished !!!).

Hi everyone!

I just updated my fan-game Star Wars - Space Battle.
You will enjoy a new feature, dear players!

Now, the complete progress of all your new games is recorded to allow you to watch again and again the replay of all your games!
Your prowess will now be remembered in history! =D

At the end of a new game, you can watch its replay immediately. Note that if the game has been long and you have a low-speed network, it may take several seconds to register and the Try again and Replay buttons may not appear immediately. Just be patient. =)
If you leave the start screen or game over screen, the replay of the highest score with replay data is automatically started as a demo after a few seconds. You can exit this demo by pressing the escape key.

In the ranking screen, if a score has a Replay button, you can watch the game without being connected.

Unfortunately for older games, as the data was not saved, no replay will be available for them.
So I'm counting on you to break the scores and give us epic moments! =D
I might even put future best score games on Youtube and everyone will be able to watch the prowess of the best players! =D

Hello, everyone!

Today I have two things to announce to you.

The first is that we will be able to meet again IRL.
This time (and for the first time) I venture out of Paris to meet you in the province.
I will exhibit at the comic book festival Normandiebulle, in Darnétal, on 29 and 30 September 2018, among a multitude of other authors! =D

The second news I have to tell you is that after many difficulties, back pain, spats, computer bugs, headaches and so on...

Chapter 2 of Dragon Cat's Galaxia 1/2 is FINALLY FINISHED!!! (Wild howl of satisfaction.)

You will finally be able to discover the rest of this crazy adventure at the next events where we will meet, starting with Normandiebulle. I’m finishing to build the book, then I'll just have to send the comic book to print. Joy! =D

Today I announce you the last bonus content of this first month on Tipeee and Patreon: the illustrations that will be delivered in HD scans at the end of the month ! :D

Hello !

As promised, today I announce a new bonus content that you can get on Tipeee and Patreon at the end of the month ! =D

This content is the graphic resources.
As explained on Tipeee and Patreon, I create my own graphic resources to improve my productivity when I draw my comic pages. It can be brushes especially for Clip Studio Paint or reusable patterns in the form of high resolution image files.

This month, I propose a pack of brushes for Clip Studio Paint that I use to make silhouettes of foliage, their border more exactly. There are exactly 36 of them with different leaf sizes and line thicknesses, whites, blacks and blacks with white borders. These brushes will be accompanied by some examples of use themselves reusable as screens to make backgrounds on your drawings or comic pages for example.

I made these brushes from pieces of drawings I made by hand.

I used these brushes during my last live session on Twitch.
