Epitanime 2025
Published by Suisei at 11/05/2025 à 14h15
Hello everyone!
I hope you're all well!
I'm coming out of my cave to announce my return to the convention circuit! :D
I'll be exhibiting with some forty other artists at the 27th edition of Epitanime on Saturday May 17 and Sunday May 18, 2025.
The convention will take place on the campus of the Epita and Epitech schools at this address.
14-16 rue Voltaire, 94270 Le Kremlin-Bicêtre (France)
You can get there by public transport.
Métro : Ligne 7 – Porte d’Italie ou Le Kremlin-Bicêtre
Tramway : Ligne T3a – Porte d’Italie
Bus : Lignes 47, 125, 131 – Arrêt Roger Salengro - Fontainebleau
And here's the map of the artists' area.
My stand is number 24.
As usual, I'll be offering autographed comics, posters and cards.
You'll can also play Star Wars - Space Battle on site and win lots of prizes! :D
So if you're in Paris next weekend, don't hesitate to come and have a chat! :D
In the meantime, you can always practice Star Wars - Space Battle so you can snaffle the best prizes during the convention.
As it's been a long time since I've given you any news, it would be nice to give you some. :)
It was getting hard for me to write news because some of the aging portions of suiseipark.com were starting to get all broken, especially the newsletter which was a real gageur to maintain.
Despite my efforts, fewer and fewer people were receiving it.
It's a little frustrating to write articles that no one reads because no one knows about them. Just a little. x)
So, since last year, I've been working on the renovation of suiseipark.com.
For you, dear readers, the change is fairly transparent. The few changes in ergonomics and aesthetics are rather discreet.
It's in the machinery behind the scenes that I'm doing the heavy lifting.
I can't hide the fact that getting rid of whole swathes of messy code that I no longer use is pretty satisfying, given that it concerns all those social network interaction gizmos. x)
Remember, I announced in 2019 that I was deserting them. Well, that's still the case, and their current evolution isn't going to change my mind. In any case, I feel much better off without them.
Some people don't understand math. I don't understand community management. It puts knots in my brain.
The most recent project concerned the newsletter.
Instead of coding the entire system myself, I've outsourced it to a specialist service that does it much better than I can: Mailjet.
It will work much better and give me fewer headaches.
By the way, I recommend that you put the new address, contact@suiseipark.com, in your contact list to ensure that your mailbox doesn't consider future news as spam.
Feel free to use it to send me your reactions.
Now that I'm going to be less stressed about whether my newsletters worked, I'll be able to give you news from time to time again.
New content is on the way, and I can't wait to bring it to you. :D
I'd like to take this opportunity to point out that I've deactivated the store for the duration of its maintenance. It was also a bit broken, so until I get it refurbished, it's closed.
That's all for today.
Good evening and see you soon! :D
