the menu

The menu is one of the focal points of RPGs made with RPG Maker and old-fashioned Japanese RPGs (the 90's way). It gives access to many informations and actions.
To access it during the game you have to type the escape key.

This menu offers a lot of action.

• Items : allows you to display the list of items in your possession and even to use them and/or consume if it is possible in this context.
• Skills : allows you to display the list of skills of your character and even to use them if it is possible in this context.
• Equiper : equips your character with weapons, armor, or other items that change his skills and abilities.
• Status : allows you to view your character's informations such as his abilities values or health status.
• Formation : is only available if fellow characters travel by your side. You can organize the combat position of the characters in your group. Since you do not have a companion in the game yet, this feature is not available at the moment.
• Journal : view current quests and their status.
• Settings : the same settings as in the options menu in the title screen (volume of music and sounds ...).
• Save : to save your game.
• Quit the game : go back to the title screen.

You can access any of these actions by selecting it with the arrow keys on the keyboard and pressing enter key to validate, or clicking on it.

On the right is the list of characters that make up your group: your hero and his companions. You do not meet any companion in this game, so there is only the character you created at the beginning of the game.

At the bottom, the amount of money you have is displayed. In FinnSkåld, the currency is the penny.

To exit the menu, simply press the escape key.
